In this hands-on camp, kids become young engineers and innovators as they design, build, and code real robots using the VEX GO system.
Over two exciting days, they’ll move from simple mechanical builds to smart robots that can move, lift, race, and respond — just like in the real world of robotics!

Day 1 – Build, Test & Race!
Intro to Robotics: What robots are and how they’re used in the real world
Explore VEX GO parts: beams, gears, pulleys, wheels & connectors
Build simple models — try “The Astronaut” or your own creative robot
Learn about gears & motion through fun demos
Challenge 1: Build an Elastic-Powered Race Car — who can go farthest?
Project of the Day: Motor-Powered Car
End-of-Day Fun: Robotics Kahoot + Cleanest Team Award
Day 2 – Code, Sense & Compete!
Intro to VEX GO Coding: connect motors, battery, & sensors
Code your robot to move, turn, and control speed
Modify your car with motors — Drag Race Challenge: Elastic vs Motor Power
Learn how sensors make robots “think”: distance, color & touch
Mini Challenge: Use sensors to navigate a course
